Urgent Care Centers

IF YOUR CHILD IS EXPERIENCING A LIFE THREATENING MEDICAL EMERGENCY – DIAL 9-1-1

Urgent Care locations treat illnesses and injuries that require medical attention, but are not life threatening. They are often more convenient and less costly (lower co-pays or lower charges to your deductible) than visiting a hospital emergency room. These facilities are most appropriately used only after normal business hours when Mountainland Pediatric’s offices are closed (see hours).

Common conditions that can be treated at these locations include:

• Ear infections
• Sore throat
• Cold and flu symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever)
• Minor burns
• Mild asthma
• Sprained or strained ankles
• Suspected fractures or broken bones
• Cuts, scrapes and rashes
• Urinary tract infections
• Mild dehydration
