Matthew Markowski MD
Dr. Markowski was born and raised in the northeast where he completed his medical and pediatric training. After graduating from Maine Medical Center Pediatric Residency program he worked in both Southern and Eastern Africa providing care to HIV-infected children. He returned to the U.S. to complete training in public health, earning by Master of Public Health and board certification in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.
In his free time he loves to travel, whether it is short trips within the state to explore our beautiful surroundings or trips internationally to learn about other cultures and societies.
Within the field of pediatrics, he especially enjoys working with children with chronic illness, such as asthma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other chronic health issues, to help them meet their personal goals and improve their overall happiness and well-being.
